I'm Oskar Schramm, a 23-year-old game/graphics programmer;
More importantly though, a guide, a brother, a sidekick to all of you navigating the same misty paths where I once found myself lost.
My journey is a saga of overcoming procrastination, steering through life’s unpredictable terrain, transforming from someone average, lacking accountability, and without a clear purpose, into a man with a renewed sense of direction.
But as I redirected my focus to a more serious career, I traded the controller for a keyboard, evolving from a mere player to a creator.
No genius here, just an average bloke,
But what I lacked in inherent brilliance, I made up for with an unwavering drive. In the midst of mediocrity, something profound propelled me forward – a purpose I couldn’t quite discern in those around me. The pursuit of greatness loomed, but with a bird’s eye view, I realized it wasn’t about becoming the greatest programmer. It was about something more profound, something less selfish, and undeniably challenging.
I don't tread the neutral ground;
I have opinions, I draw lines in the sand. There’s an ‘us’ – the ones who dare, innovate, create, and most importantly, try. Then there’s ‘them’ – those who comply, content with the ordinary and do the opposite. I proudly stand with the innovators, the dreamers, and those pushing the boundaries of what’s possible
Life before?
A haze of indecision, procrastination, and gaming marathons. Life after? A deliberate choice to rise above, to help others navigate the intricate paths of game programming, showcasing the pitfalls, and illuminating the way to success.
